Very disappointed by AgileBits move to a paid monthly / annual service. You don’t need to sign up, but they push you into a trial without any knowledge that you’ve accepted it. There are so many bugs in the latest update that when I moved my data from my primary account to their online service, so much of my data was removed and displaced. Then, when transferring back from the online account to the primary account, it refused to transfer back another item. It’s frustrating and I worry that I will lose all of my data, which includes passwords that would be impossible to dig back up. This used to be a favourite app for me, but I have heard there are many better and more cost effective ones out there. I am now looking into them to make the switch. I advise you to do the same.

I’ve been using 1Password on Mac and iOS since 2012. I think the software is invaluable. I can recommend this software to others. If you will use the software on multiple devices and computers and share vaults with others, I suggest checking out all the helpful information on the web site before starting, to ensure you understand what is involved and how to set it up in an optimal way. There are two ways to get 1Password: through the Apple app stores or through Agilebits directly. Do some research to find out which is best for you. I got mine through the App stores. The software does exactly what it says and the company releases updates frequently to address reported issues. I have contacted support a few times for help (the iCloud sync change a while back, license questions, etc.), and all issues were resolved professionally in a short amount of time. I recently changed from stand-alone single user to Families and I am happy with the ability to have multiple vaults and share with others in the family. I use the software multiple times a day on 5 devices, and have never had issues. Agilebits is always providing detailed update information about software fixes, but so far I have not been affected by any of the mentioned issues (knock on wood…).

Paid 90$ for this... thing and hoped for a lifetime license actually... And you know what? They switched to a MONTHLY plans... WTF?????? Im going to refund my money. And I will never use products of your company again! Its highly impropriate to ask people paid a full price for the app to pay every damnmonth as well.

ID/PW一元管理、強力なパスワード生成、ブラウザ連携、iOS版とのsyncがとても素晴らしいです。 1Password miniから右三角を辿って項目をクリックするだけで項目がコピーされるので、 Mac App StoreやiTunes Storeなどダイアログからのパスワード要求にもペーストするだけで対応できます。 自動バックアップ生成に失敗する通知が何度も出る場合は以下pathが存在するか確認してみてください。 /Users/ユーザ名/Library/Application Support/1Password 4/Backups/ 私の場合、バックアップが失敗していたのでpathを通すことで無事成功しました。 この問題はTroubleshooting toolによるレポート提出とtwitterにてAgileBitsに報告したので、 おそらく次のアップデータで解決されると思います。

Great app; never had a problem with it; as the title says, it’s indispensable.

Could be a good app but still needs custom fields. All chiper alternatives have this ability, why do you insist not giving it?

This app is just excellent. Easy management of passwords, extensions for many browsers, responsive support and frequent update. You cant go wrong with 1Password!

I’m sorry to say this update is useless. Both apps can’t see one another in the same WiFi network. App reload, WiFi ON/OFF, device restart won’t help. EDIT Syncing works again after I turned on the Background App refresh for this app.

As far I understand, It was tested by Apple for the whole month or so. How it is possible to have such a big bug here after so much testing?

This is an absolute must have, especially if you need to keep your passwords on a few devices – iPhone, iPad, Macs. Passwords, software licenses, credit cards all that you might need in a handy way. Sync with dropbox, USB drives, and whatever you find convenient.
