Top notch
This is a best in class password manager that is beautifully designed to work well in the Apple ecosystem while also supporting your Windows needs. It’s not the cheapest solution—you’ll need to license those platforms you use individually—but AgileBits is a trustworthy name that’s been in the business a long time.
There is no required subscription. We use this on multiple Macs and iOS devices and synchronize solely through iCloud and Dropbox. Multiple password vaults are supported, so you can have your own secured set of passwords and a second shared vault for family accounts.
Beyond basic password generation, storage, and entry, the identity and credit card features are equally useful to me. MacOS will now store credit card info, but doesn’t store the CVV code. Great for cards where I remember the CVV code, not very useful for those cards I use infrequently. And the identity information fills web forms correctly more often than the autofill provided by Safari. 1Password is just much better at figuring out what info goes into what fields across a wide variety of web forms.
Major browsers are supported. The latest Mac features, like Touch ID, are supported. This is great software from an experienced, knowledgeable security software maker. This is one of my top recommendations for Mac and iOS software.
