Indispensaible security vault
I have been using 1Password for only a year but have 131 entries already. It isn’t just for web page logins and credit card info but for any data and files to be kept secure with quick access such as licenses and passports. 1Password is installed on my Macbook, iPad and iPhones. I selected 1Password as my data security vault in order to easily access my secure data anywhere needed without using cloud storage.
1Password does not require cloud storage to share vaults across devices. My primary vault is on a Macbook which is connected to our local SSID broadcast disabled router accessed using WPA2. When 1Password is opened on any of my connected devices they are synchronized with the Macbook vault automatically. Coincidentally, just before I purchased 1Password the cloud storage of the most popular security vault product of the day was hacked.
1Password securred data can be accessed anywhere when needed. The vaults can be exported and imported to devices that have 1Password installed and to devices that don’t have 1Passport. Vaults can be exported to encrypted external drives as xxx...1pif or xxx...csv files. .csv files can be read in a spreadsheet such as Apple Numbers and exported encrypted to .xlsx files - .csf file should be deleted. .xlsx data can be accessed using the encryption keys for the drive and the file, and a program that can read encrypted .xlsx files.
Last but not least, it is very easy to use.
I highly recommend 1Password.
