Here is how 1 Password is supposed to work. When registering at a password protected site, 1 Password suggests a complex, secure password. Then you submit that, and 1 Password is supposed to remember the login information for the next time. But what happens is that the site often doesn’t recognize the login information. Next, you have to submit “lost password” from the site, wait for an email, reset the password with something youll remember. It takes five times as long to use 1 Password witht he same result as not using it at all. If that is appealing to you, then 1 Password is for you. This happens so frequently, that I have come to really dislike 1 Password. I regret buying it.

Hands down, the best password manager you can buy on the Mac (and PC for that matter). Highly recommended!

Integrates well with major browsers and mobile devices. I’ve bought it for myself, my company, and Ive gifted it to friends.

Worth every penny. One of the best password managers I’ve ever used and one of the most valuable apps I have. I use it constantly and couldn’t live without it. If you do NOT use a password manager then get one - it is a life saver. If you DO use one, check this one out. It is great. Food for thought - if you or your spouse were to be incapacitated or worse for any period of time, what would you do? Could you get to what you need to to pay bills, get 401K and health info, etc. - This is most definitely something you absolutely need.

With the plethora of online services out there, bringing with it the necessity to keep several different and strong credentials, one isn’t able to deal with it alone. 1Password then comes to our rescue. Great app, support for platforms from different vendors, and peace of mind around the complexity and availability of my credentials Internetwide.

After five+ years of use it’s time for me to finally leave a review: 1Password is my digital grab-and-go kit. I know that all the information that my family needs for it’s security and stability is safe in 1Password. The house and every device in it could burn down, but I know we’d be alright because we use 1Password. It also let’s me rest assured that I can keep my elderly parents safe as they blunder through the digital world. Agile Bits and 1Password is the only company and software I trust as much or more than I trust Apple. Thank you Agile Bits!

I rarely write reviews, but after using 1Password since version 4 was released I was compelled to express my opinion: 1Password rocks! There is a separate version for the Mac, iPad and iPhone. Copared to most other password managers available its a bit pricey; however, it works wonderfully and is tightly integrated with each platforms version. I chose it because of how consistently it was rated, and it still is. Also, not having it cost me more that I paid for it. UPDATE: Its now version 6.2 and everything still rocks! At this point I would be absolutely lost without 1Password. I depend on it for everything and it consistently delivers. I use it for both OS X and iOS and they are always in sync. I have very obscure passwords for everything and only have to remember one simple one. I have also committed credit cards and software licenses. I now only have one place to look and one place to maintain. This is a highly recommended investment!

I have been using 1Password for, gosh, nine years now. I first came across it in a MacHeist bundle and immediately fell in love with it. I updated to the Mac App Store version last year for the iCloud syncing between my Mac mini and iPhone. I really can’t live without this app. I have secure passwords on all the sites I frequent, and when a security concern does pop up (like Heartbleed), it takes only a few minutes to update logins for affected sites (well, except for Heartbleed, but I couldn’t imagine re-securing myself without 1Password after that bug).

I have enjoyed using 1Password on all my Macs and iOS devices since 2012 and have had no reason to try any other solutions out there. I trust the software’s reliability and have never lost a password during the years I have used the product. Thanks, 1Password team!

This app does its job wonderfully, and yet the devs still keep finding ways to make it even better! Definitely an app well worth the investment.

Most of us know that we should be using a password manager. It feels like it might be inconvenient or not work in practice. 1Password is more convenient than using just one password for every site was. It works great across my Mac and my iPhone. Get it.

I have used this app almost since the day it came out. I have tried others some were wonderful also. BUT I keep comong back to this one and it just keeps getting better and better.

1Password is just plain excellent. Not only does it work flawlessly across devices, but they are constantly improving it. I’m amazed how often they have updates, significant updates, chock full of great improvements. It’s a great app and they are always making it better.

I don’t even know how much time this application has saved me over the ~5 years I’ve used it. It was great when I started using it in 2011 and keeps getting better.

Not much to put here, other than this is a must have. You can read the almost 5,000 other reviews (basically all 5 star). This app will go on sale from time to time, but regardless - You’ll feel a LOT more secure about everything after having this. It works flawlessly with the iPhone app, which I’d say 75%+ of you reading this probably own. Stop waiting :)

I’ve been using 1Password for many years, and it has become the most relied upon and effective productivity apps I’ve ever used. It transformed how I manage passwords and other sensitive access-related information in an increasingly complex and security conscious lifestyle. In fact, 1Password is so essential to me and my daily personal and business routine that I would select 1Password as the sole app of choice were I to somehow be limited to having a single, non-native app on the Mac or my iPhone.

Well worth the money. I’ve got my entrire life in 1Pass….and if you don’t well you’re making life difficult for yourself. Buy it and enjoy the benfits of a safer, mor secure, and simpler life. Trust me. It’s worth it every penny (and then some).

1Password is one of a few apps so essential to to me, that a Mac doesn’t feel like it’s fully functional unless I have 1Password installed. The team is constantly pushing this app forward in ways which solve the problems of security and encryption. This is easily a 5 star, must have app.

I started using 1Password near the first release and find it to be an excellent tool. I use it on my iMac, MBP, iPhone, and iPad mini. I sync through one of my cloud storage areas for ease of access on all my devices. Just did the 6.2 update and anticipate the same service to continue. I really like this app/service/tool/etc.
